What a blinding term for the universities network! You’ve debated, divested and disrupted those devilish death dealers! Spirits are high and new groups are forming over the country so 2014 looks to be a bad year to be an arms dealer. There’s work to be done if we’re to boot BAE off campuses for good, so get on board! Wondering how you’ll kick start your action in the new year? Worried that you wont be able to move very much with that festive food hangover? We’ve got you covered. Careers fairs that are likely to have arms dealers at them in 2014, along with the contact details for whoever’s in charge of the fair has now been logged on our handy little google map. If you find out that any nasties are coming to town, let us know so that we help you get a campaign on the go! And if your university isn’t there, message us so that we can get our map up to date.
Lastly, don’t forget that the Student Gathering is on February 1st. RSVP on the facebook event and buy your travel tickets to Leeds now for cheap advance tickets. If you need help with the travel cost, e-mail us as we may be able to cover it. There’ll be workshops to boost your campaigning skills, direct action training and plenty of time to chat to other anti-arms activists and get inspired. And, just in case all that wasn’t enough to draw you in, there’ll be free veggie/vegan food. Don’t say we don’t spoil you!
